1) Introduce teens to Jesus Christ and bring them closer to Him through the Sacraments.
2) Establish meaningful relationships between the teens, growing in fellowship and calling one another on to greater holiness.
3) Help teens develop leadership skills in order to evangelize to others and be the face of Christ in their community and the world.
School Year Core Leadership Team:
Each year, Catholics in the Youth Group have the opportunity to apply for, and be selected as one of the core leadership team members. Being on the Leadership Team gives the opportunity for personal and group growth. Leadership skills are enhanced and more skills are learned to help them live their faith well. All Core Team Leaders meet once a month for one on one mentorship, and twice a month to strategize how to best lead the Sunday night youth groups. Each has a specific role, while we all work together to promote our events, lead our service projects and attend the Sunday Youth Group Nights and our fundraising events. Pray about applying next year!
Summer Leadership Team:
Each Spring, Catholic Youth Group attendees have the opportunity to apply for, and be selected as one of the core leadership team members that will help maintain and build the youth ministry during the summer months. The summer core leadership team helps serve the Youth Group from the end of June thru August!
Summer Events (end of June through August):
