Volunteer/Committee Opportunities

Dear SJA Families,
Every year, our success depends on the participation and support of our Stingray families and we look forward to partnering with you on the many initiatives offered.There are many opportunities throughout the year for families to complete their service requirements. In accordance with you admissions contract, each family is responsible for 25 service hours.
If a family falls short of fulfilling its hours by June 3, 2025, the families account will be charged $ 5.00 per hour for each hour of deficit.
If unforeseen circumstances keep you from fulfilling your obligation, please reach out to Paige Cecere [email protected].
Reports cards and or transcripts will be withheld until all financial obligations are met.

Volunteer Requirements
The Diocese of Richmond and St. John the Apostle Catholic School have made a commitment to the safety of all students.
All adults over the age of 18 that work and volunteer at our school must go through the VIRTUS training, and background checks.
Go online to www.virtus.org, log in, register for the VIRTUS training, Diocese of Richmond/St. John the Apostle Catholic School.
The background check will be done at this time as well, and our administrator will be notified when a person is finished/cleared.
