Hello, my name is Mark Rutledge. I was born and raised Catholic and went to Catholic school. I went into
the Navy after college where I met my beautiful wife Denise of 40 years. We have four children. I just
finished 20 years as a merchant marine not being home much, living and working on board ships. I have
sailed around the world several times finding Catholic churches everywhere I went, but now I am home.
We came to St. John’s in August 1995 where I have seen a lot of changes over the last 30 years. I am
happy to be serving as one of your Parish Council members and look forward to growing our parish
family here at St. John’s as we move into the future.
