Dennis and his wife, Kathleen, have been married for 45 years and have been parishioners of St. John the Apostle since 2019. In 1978, Dennis experienced a profound conversion to Jesus Christ through which the Lord mercifully transformed his life from one of spiritual bondage into
one of faith and discipleship. Over the years, Dennis has served in a variety of ministries, including music evangelism and worship, prison ministry, and leading/overseeing small-group fellowships.

Dennis grew up in New Jersey, lived in Arizona for 18 years, and settled in Virginia in 1988. In 2019, Dennis and Kathleen were received into the Roman Catholic Church. Dennis retired from Operation Blessing International/CBN after 32 years of service supporting its humanitarian mission. 

He and Kathleen have three sons—Stephen, Taylor, and Cullen—two daughters-in-law, Lauren and Katherine, and four grandchildren: Elaina, Acey Harper, Arizona, and Miles, all of whom live locally.

In retirement, Dennis enjoys playing the upright bass, photography, fishing, and reading, particularly the works of contemplative and mystical authors. He serves as a lector and is active in the apostolate Little Company of Mary. He regularly attends meetings of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites while discerning a vocation to the Order.

As he continues to deepen his faith, Dennis remains grateful for God's faithful guidance in his life, seeking to live from the reality that he is hidden with Christ in God (Col. 3:3) and that, as Christ is, so is he in this world (1 John 4:17).
